So close, yet so far away...

Okay, enough is enough! When I started this project I really didn't think that it was going to take me such a long time. After I had moved and had a longer commute, I dug up this beast again and started pumping some serious hours into it. It was just what I had needed to power through the banner and into the green. There's been a couple of setbacks in the form of books that have reeled me in, but I'm giving myself a goal to finish this. By the end of may I want to have this piece done, framed and hanging somewhere in my house.

I'm Not Dead Yet!

Spring has sprung and It's time to shake off the cobwebs! Drag out those old projects that you never finished over the winter and get crack-a-lacking!

Things have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to even think about the blog, let alone make any new designs.
Well, not anymore.

We were going to have a table at the Anime North convention in Toronto and were preparing for such since the end of Fanexpo last year, but as fate has dealt, we didn't get in.
But that's okay, since we won't be at the convention physically, we'll be there in spirit!

All spring long we'll be offering a sale to give you convention prices without even having to leave your seat!

Use the coupon code "SPRINGSALE15" at the check out and you'll have 15% off your order!

Also check out our newborn, we've got photos of past designs that aren't available on the Etsy store anymore, promotions and later this month sneak peeks into new and upcoming designs!

Free Pattern Week Part 2

Today I've got a pattern that I used years ago to make a small rug. Later This one piece evolved into an entire boss select screen that hangs in my office. Inspiration or a sound buffer? Maybe a bit of both. Anyway, enjoy.

And Now For Something Different

*whew* I've been so busy and neglecting my blog. I feel like I owe it something.

As you may or may not know, over the years I've been dabling in sprite work making rugs, needleworks and perlers; pretty much anything I can get my hands on for a quick fix. Over the next week I'm going to be sharing some of the patterns I've used... If I can remember to continue with it.

Anyway, here's your first assignment from Bill and Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure. This one should be easy. There are only 4 colours. (Remember to click the image to get the full size)
That's it for today, come back tomorrow for another pattern!

What Kind of Jerk...?

...would swap out a board to steal a game that they've rented instead of actually going out and buying a copy?

someone who traded it in for about .50 cents, that's who.

The other day I picked up a cart with a piece of computer paper taped over the label with "Spike McFang" crudely witten by what looked like a 7 year old's hand writing. Under it, the original cart label. MK2. wow.

Someonw out there is going to be so unhappy when they skip home with their Spike McFang labeled cart with MK2 inside.

...but not really.

best $3.99 spent ever.
